Aristasian Philosophy
A
section on Aristasian Philosophy may seem, to some extent, a redundancy.
All of Aristasia is philosophic. Even the lipstick expresses a philosophical
truth.
If one
should ask "Where do I look for the philosophical writings in an
Aristasian site", the answer must be "everywhere". You
will find philosophy mixed in with discussions of the most unlikely things
throughout our archives, because for us there is no real distinction between
"philosophy" and other areas of life.
A philosophical
section is therefore a shade artificial, but nonetheless it is important
to set out some of the basic principles of Aristasian thought. This has
been nowhere better done than in:
The
Feminine Universe by Miss Alice Lucy Trent
If you
wish to understand Aristasia as a way of thinking and understanding, your
point of departure should be this book. We have included some extracts

Spirituality
Why
do Philosophy and spirituality share the same starting-page? Because in
Aristasia the two are so inextricably intertwined that if we made two
libraries, it would be hard to know which texts to put in which place.
While there will be devotional
and other pieces that clearly belong under "Spirituality" and
abstract pieces that are clearly "Philosophy", in many
cases the dividing line is subtle and at times non-existent, because
Aristasia, like all traditional societies, has an integrated order
in which Philosophy, Spirituality and life-in-general are not
separate things.
As a starting-point for the
specifically spiritual side of Aristasia, we recommend the audio
broadcast The
Good News of God the Mother or if you prefer the printed
word: An
Introduction to Aristasian faith and Spirituality.
A more "external" view of
Aristasian religion may be found in The
Religion of Aristasia and
the place to go for all your devotional needs is The
Chapel of God the Mother. You may also like to join
the Aristasian
Spirituality Group — or just take a look at its archives.
They are open to the public.
To understand a litle more
of the devotional aspect of Aristasia, you may like to read this
charming piece by an Estrenne Ranya: The
